Rural Outreach

Freedom for Youth is working to establish teen drop-in centers in rural Iowa communities. We are searching for Christians in communities who want to reach out to their youth and would like help building the infrastructure needed. Rural centers can establish their own non-profit corporation or come under Freedom for Youth’s umbrella. The following is a list of current towns operating centers:

Mitchellville
Osceola
Jewell

1st day of Freedom Quest session begins (more)

The Freedom Quest program begins it's first session of classes and activities for Jr. high and high school students. The students get to enjoy classes, activities, Bible studies, a meal and more. Whiz Kidz begins for the school year of 2010-2011. Elementary students meet at the Freedom Center on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 for tutoring, games, and a meal. Contact Melanie Wise for more information: mwise@freedomforyouth.org.
