Food & Clothes

Freedom for Youth Ministries relies on many in-kind donations to operate the facilities and provide basic clothing items and food to the youth we serve and our neighbors. However, the ministry recognizes that our primary mission is not to feed and clothe the homeless and that other agencies in the city are much better equipped to provide these services on a much larger scale. Consequently, we partner with other organizations such as Hope Ministries, St. Vincent De Paul and the Food Bank of Iowa to help those we serve.

Because of the large volume of clothing donations, please call ahead before donating clothes. If we are not able to use it, we will advise you of other organizations that will accept your donation.

Many of the in-kind items that are donated to the ministry are used for the Freedom Store, a program to feed and clothe the families in our community.
