Young Adults Program
Our Transitions program serves young adults ages 18-25 committed to changing their lives through Christian discipleship, employment training, and life skill development.
Employment Training & Life Skills
Freedom Blend Coffee, an enterprise of Freedom for Youth Ministries, is a full-service coffee business that empowers young adults through Christ-centered employment training. The business, founded in 2010, teaches job skills and gives participants invaluable knowledge and work experience for future employment.
Freedom Construction Services (Launching in 2019) is an enterprise of Freedom for Youth Ministries. We are positioned to provide supportive employment training for high school students and young adults in various building and construction trades. In this program, participants learn work disciplines through on-the-job training and have the ability to complete certification training.
Work Life - We have partnered with The Chalmers Center to offer Work Life, a biblically integrated job preparedness curriculum designed specifically for people from backgrounds of generational poverty. In addition to practical job skills, the curriculum empowers participants to recognize that God is at work in the world and that their jobs are a way of participating in that work.
Many times, a young adult's greatest need is a supportive community. Through our programs we seek to introduce young adults to Christian community. They are invited to church by staff and volunteers and build relationships with life allies in Work Life that prayerfully will last a lifetime.
