Freedom for Youth internships are based out of our home office in Des Moines or at our Knoxville, Iowa, location and are two to four months long. The first step is to apply online here. We’ll review your qualifications and, if you look like a good fit, reach out to you for an interview.

Youth Programs | Spring, Summer, Fall

The Youth Program Intern plays a key role in supporting Freedom for Youth’s mission by assisting with after-school or summer programs for K-12 students. Interns will gain hands-on experience in youth ministry, sharing the love of Jesus with students and supporting them as they build confidence in their academics and develop leadership skills. Marketing & Communications | Spring, Summer, Fall

Interns have hands-on experience with branding, direct mailings, publicity/public relations, social media, advertising for Freedom Blend Coffee and Freedom Construction Services in Des Moines. Click here for a job description.

Freedom Quest | Summer

Freedom Quest interns are missionaries to the state of Iowa! Spend the summer visiting Iowa communities with high-energy, fun events, including bounce houses, carnival games, Gospel-centered activities, and food, all to reach unchurched youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Interns will oversee most responsibilities in planning and executing large-scale youth events.
